Knitting is a wonderful hobby which teaches patience, inspires creativity, and the satisfaction of accomplishment. Several years ago I decided to create these books because people were frequently giving me compliments on my work and saying, “I could never do that”. To which I always responded, “Yes you can!” “If you can do the knit and purl stitch, you can knit anything”. I thought that if I first created patterns for scarves that people would not be so intimidated to try. So, Volume One contained nine scarf patterns which transpired into a total of thirty-one patterns. Following the success of Volume One, I spent another year knitting endlessly and creating Volume Two with 24 new patterns to answer the overwhelming demand for a second book.
